Approving from your phone

Claude asks. You tap. It keeps going.

A permission prompt nobody sees stops an agent for as long as you are away from the desk. Grenade shows each one on your phone as a card, with the whole command, and the answer is one tap.

What you get

A card for everything Claude asks.

The whole request

The card shows what Claude wants to run or edit, in full, so you can read it before you allow it.

Allow once, or say no and why

An answer from the phone counts once and saves no rule. Deny it, and say what Claude should do instead.

Questions with their choices

When Claude asks you something, the card shows its choices and takes a typed answer too.

Plans on a screen of their own

Read the plan, then build it, or send it back with what should change, typed or spoken.

The first answer wins

Answer on the phone or at the Mac, whichever you reach first. The card closes everywhere else.

Codex too

Codex's approvals are answered in its own terminal on the phone, with Enter, Esc and the arrows on a key row. Its trust dialogs come as cards.
On the Mac

See a card before you need one

With a phone paired, this sends it a test card. Nothing runs on the Mac.

Questions

Before you install.

Does an answer from the phone change my Claude Code permission settings?

No. "Allow once" is the only yes the phone has, and the daemon never saves a rule.

Can someone else approve things on my Mac?

Only a phone you paired, and pairing takes the QR code on your Mac's screen. The app can ask for Face ID when it opens, and grenade unpair on the Mac ends a pairing at once. More on who can do what.

How do I know an agent is waiting?

Its session turns amber in the list, on the phone and in the Mac app, and says what it is asking.

What if I answer at the Mac instead?

Then the card on the phone closes. The first answer wins.
