The Mac app

Every agent on your Mac, in one window.

The Grenade Mac app lists your sessions in a sidebar, grouped by project, and shows a project's agents side by side. It sits next to your terminal, not in place of it.

What you get

A window onto every session.

A project's agents side by side

Pick a session in the sidebar and its whole group shows as panes: the API, the UI and the tests next to each other, each with its status.

What it did, or its terminal

A pane shows what the agent said and did. One switch turns every pane into its live terminal, and back.

Find the one that needs you

⌘K opens search. With nothing typed it lists the sessions that need you first; typed, it finds sessions, past conversations and folders.

Start one by picking a folder

A new session is a folder and an agent. ⌘D starts another in the same folder with the same agent.

Drop a file on a pane

Drag a file or a screenshot onto a pane, or paste it, and it is attached to what you send.

Talk to it

Each pane has a mic: click or hold, and your words land in that pane's field.

Status in the Dock

While sessions run, the Dock icon wears a ring in their colors, each its share: amber needs you, green finished, blue working.

Right-click for the list

The Dock icon's menu lists the sessions that need an answer first, then the finished and the working ones. Pick one to open it.

Answer from any app

A strip of dots sits on the screen's edge. Click it and answer a question or a permission without leaving the app you're in.
On the Mac

It shows what the command line runs

The app is a window onto the sessions on this Mac and needs no pairing. Install the command-line tool, then open the app; it needs macOS 26 or later.

Questions

Before you install.

Does it replace my terminal?

No. Sessions run in tmux whether the app is open or not, and iTerm2 or Terminal can show the same ones. The app is one more window onto them.

Do I need the phone app?

No. The Mac app works by itself. The phone app shows the same sessions when you are away from the Mac.

Which agents does it show?

Every session Grenade started on this Mac: Claude Code, Codex and plain shells.

How does it update?

By itself: it downloads a new version in the background and installs it when you quit.

Can I answer without opening the window?

Yes. Click the session shelf on the screen's edge, or press its shortcut from any app, and answer a question or a permission right there. The guide has the details.
