Looking for what Omnara used to be?

Omnara began as a phone remote for Claude Code. It has since relaunched as an open-source platform for running managed agents, and its website no longer mentions the mobile app. If you used it to answer the agents on your own computer, this is what Grenade does.

Side by side

Omnara and Grenade.

Which one

An honest pick.

Choose Omnara when

  • You want agents running in cloud sandboxes, not on your laptop.
  • You want to start and steer agents from an API, an SDK or Slack.
  • You are building a product or a team workflow on top of agents.

Choose Grenade when

  • You want the agents already in your terminal on your phone.
  • You want no account and nothing of yours in a cloud.
  • You want to see, across a project's agents, which one needs you.

How Grenade's pairing and encryption work, and who can read what: Security.
